Semi-finals in sight for Borussia Dortmund

Borussia Dortmund looks primed to reach the semi-finals of the UCL tonight. Although the first leg match against Malaga ended up in a scoreless draw, the Germans squandered a host of good chances to snatch at least an away goal, albeit win the game. They showed they were the superior team and will be the deserved favourites to go through back on their home ground where they are quite formidable. There are quite a few things going against Malaga; a couple of suspended players, mixed current form, and the unfortunate disruption of their training with the absence of top manager Pellegrini over the past few days. Even at their best, the Spaniards floundered in the last round on their visit to Porto, and were lucky to come away with a narrow 1-goal loss. Dortmund are bound to be less forgiving and they look set to win the match and advance. I see the Germans winning over 90 minutes and qualify.

Win: Borussia Dortmund
To Qualify: Borussia Dortmund
